Visiting the other Isles of Scilly

From Easter to October there are daily boats from St Martin's via St Mary's to all the other inhabited islands, tides and weather permitting. The times of boats can be found on the St Martin's community website. You can pay on-board. It is important to say when you pay that you want to go on to another island so you are issues a 'through ticket', if you don't do this you will be charged twice. There are also other wildlife trips and evening trips advertised locally.
At other times of the year travel to St Mary's is possible on most days but it can take a bit more planning to get to the other islands.  This is best done with a bit of local knowledge that we are very happy to provide, just ask. ​​
St. Mary's
The largest of the Scilly Isles, there is plenty to explore on St. Marys. Hugh Town offers a range of shops and a good choice of cafes and pubs. However it is also worth venturing further out of the town to spend a quiet afternoon on Old Town Beach, or take a walk to Bar Point via Juliet's Garden and Café where you can enjoy a delicious menu and fantastic views. Keep an eye out for the art and craft galleries dotted around St Mary's where you can see local artists at work.

Tresco
Visit the world famous Tresco Abbey Gardens where over 20,000 species of plant reside thanks to the sub- tropical climate we have on the islands.You can also take a walk around the island to see Cromwell's Castle and the remains of King Charles's Castle. The grocery store and delicatessen  on Tresco is incredibly well stocked and there are several lovely places to eat g pub. You can also browse Scilly inspired art in the gallery and for those who fancy a treat, a leisure spa!

 Bryher
The smallest of the inhabited islands, Bryher is also the most rugged. Hell Bay is the perfect spot for storm watching, either from the cliff tops or from the comfort of the bar that can be found in the smart Hell Bay Hotel. There is also the chance to visit England's most westerly pub, the Fraggle Rock Bar.

 St. Agnes
Distinguishable by the tall white lighthouse, St. Agnes sits in the most South Westerly spot in the UK. With a highly recommendable sea-front pub, cafes using fresh local produce and Troytown Farm selling locally made ice cream, you certainly won't go hungry! If you time the tides right you can take a walk across the bar and visit Gugh, inhabited by just three people.
